Who we are, and who we are not.
We are a community, not a language school.
We believe that speaking with real people matters more than talking to an app or an AI avatar.
Technology can help, but it should never replace human interaction, hesitation, mistakes, laughter, and real conversations.
We are busy people
That’s why we value flexibility over rigid schedules.
You are guided by a real teacher, but you practice when you have time, not when an app tells you to.
We focus on real conversations, not perfect sentences
You don’t need to be perfect to participate.
By listening, encouraging, and sometimes correcting others, you learn just as much yourself.
We want the best value
We want to have the guidance of a professional teacher, for the price of a learning app.
Not anti-tech. Pro-human
Over the years, language learning has moved toward full automation. Apps and AI can be helpful — but they shouldn’t replace real interaction.
At Discussit, we see technology as a support, not a substitute.
Real progress comes from speaking with real people, making mistakes, and being understood.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
What is Discussit?
Discussit is a language practice community.
It’s not a traditional language course, but a space where learners practice speaking and writing through real conversations, guided by a professional teacher. Weekly live sessions are part of the offer, although it's up to you to attend or not.
Can I try for free?
Yes. You can join the community for free, access the chats, and participate in discussions.
If you want feedback from a teacher and access to live conversation sessions, you can upgrade anytime.
What level do I need to join?
Discussit works best for learners who already have some basic knowledge and want to practice more regularly.
You don’t need to be fluent — curiosity and willingness to participate are enough.
If you are a complete beginner, we might organize individual online courses with one of our teachers.
Who guides the community?
The community is guided by a professional language teacher, one for each language.
They moderate discussions, propose weekly challenges, and give feedback to members who choose the active membership.
Which languages can I practice with Discussit?
Currently, Discussit focuses on English, French and Czech.
New languages may be added over time, depending on the community.
How is Discussit different from a language app or AI tool?
Apps help you practice alone while Discussit helps you practice with people.
There is no streak pressure, no fake conversations, no gamification tricks.
Just real language, used for real communication.
We are an online language speaking practice community designed for learners who want to speak and interact with real people. Members practice languages through real conversations, guided by a professional teacher, with flexible participation for busy learners.
